Privacy notice
This site is run by me, James Sanger. I'm the data controller for anything collected here. The short version: the only personal data this site deliberately collects is an email address, if you choose to give me one, and I use it for exactly one thing.
What I collect and why
If you join the mailing list, I store your email address, the date and time you signed up, and a record of the consent wording you signed up under. I use it to email you when new work lands. Nothing else. I don't sell it, share it, rent it, or use it to build profiles.
The legal basis is your consent (UK GDPR, Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time; see "Your rights" below.
Where it lives
The list is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., who host this site and act as my data processor. Their infrastructure is global, so data may be stored or replicated outside the UK; transfers are covered by Cloudflare's standard contractual safeguards.
Like any host, Cloudflare briefly processes visitors' IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. That happens on the basis of legitimate interests in running a secure website, and I don't see or keep that information.
Cookies and tracking
None. No cookies, no analytics, no advertising pixels, no third-party embeds. Fonts and all other assets are served from this domain.
How long I keep it
Until you unsubscribe, you ask me to remove you, or I close the list, whichever comes first. Then it's deleted.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can:
- ask for a copy of the data I hold about you;
- have it corrected or deleted;
- withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time;
- complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you think I've handled your data badly.

Changes
If how this site handles data changes, this notice changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
